The World Aquaculture Society’s Student Activities Platform is composed of students and senior WAS members and will strive to initiate and develop beneficial opportunities for students on regular basis throughout the year – leading to the annual Aquaculture Africa Conferences and other WAS global conferences.

From April 2023, students from developing countries (mostly African countries) now qualify for free membership to WAS (without voting rights).
